However I got to join some other like minded people on a learning journey that I know I will gain some long lifetime skills from.
I now have a much better understanding of the Manaiakalani Education Trust, its origins, its success so far and more importantly its vision for digital learning in the future.
Dorothy, you are a wonder to listen to, thank you for sharing your knowledge today and I look forward to learning more from you in the next 9 weeks. Vicki, my digital group guru, thank you for being so easy to connect with and for being such a patient teacher.
Unfortunately my brain is so overflowing I dont think I can pinpoint any one or two things that I have learnt but judging by the fogginess of the brain I have crammed it full of new stuff.
I look forward to next week with bated breath. See you all next week
Kia Ora Debbie,
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fabulous day. Well done and look forward to learn some life long skills from you.

Now that you have a better understanding of the philosophy behind this programme you are now better placed to talk directly with whanau who may make enquiries about Manaiakalani. And guess what? Your brain will just be clearing and suddenly it's DFI day again! Well done you. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteKia ora Debbie,
ReplyDeleteI love your whānau images - a lovely way to share the important people in your life :)
I hope you've had a chance to reflect on the session from last week and aren't still in that 'full brain' feeling. Are there a couple of things that have stood out for you that you've used in this last week?
Looking forward to working with you again tomorrow.
Vicki
Hi Vicki, yes things did settle down as I took some quiet time to reflect. I love the way I can move more freely around my bookmarks and have managed to tidy up my google drive a lot which makes finding things so much easier :-)
